Brunt pleased with Mulumbu link-up
Chris Brunt believes there was a positive to take from West Brom's 6-0 mauling by Chelsea last weekend in the shape of his midfield partnership with Youssouf Mulumbu.
Brunt was moved from his customary position on the wing into the middle for the Baggies' opening match on their return to the Barclays Premier League.
The Northern Irishman told the club's official website: "You want to play against the best players. Chelsea have some of the best players in the league and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
"I thought Youssouf and I did okay in there considering Chelsea were like the Red Arrows, with players coming from all over the place.
"It was pleasing in that aspect and, if we take out some of the good aspects from the weekend into the Sunderland game, we'll have a good chance."
