Brunt grateful to team-mates

Chris Brunt has thanked his West Brom team-mates after admitting he thought he had blown the chance of securing victory over Arsenal. The midfielder saw his tame penalty saved by Manuel Almunia but goals from Peter Odemwingie, Gonzalo Jara and Jerome Thomas put the Baggies three up, and they held on for a famous 3-2 win. Brunt, who was involved in two of the Baggies' goals, told the official club website: "I was angry at myself for the penalty because I changed my mind. When I put the ball down I was just going to smash it - but I changed my mind at the last minute. "Everybody tells you to never change your mind and that's what I did so I was gutted because I thought I had blown a chance for us. "But thankfully the lads responded straight away and we just went from strength to strength. If we hadn't won I would have blamed myself for it."
