Di Matteo delighted to break club record Roberto Di Matteo praised his players’ professionalism and attitude after breaking the club’s record points tally for a season.  Gabriel Tamas’ header in the 21st minute earned the Baggies another Championship point after Steven Reid turned into his own goal four minutes earlier. The 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park took the Baggies on to an impressive 90 points and surpassed the record set by Gary Megson’s men back in the 2001-2002 season.  The Baggies have also equalled Leicester’s record second place 90 points haul needing only a point against Barnsley to set a new Championship record.  "It's credit to the players that we've achieved this record and I'm very pleased with that," Di Matteo insisted. "They have been outstanding this season and it shows in the points we have. "The players' professionalism and attitude has been fantastic. "They have worked very hard and have been magnificent. "To get 90 points is a great result for this group of players. "Our aim for the last game, now, is to top Leicester. "If we win that one, we'll put more points on top of the 90 we have and finish the season in a positive manner, a good style, and try to carry that momentum through the summer and into next season."
