Skysports.com understands a host of clubs are battling to land Arsenal starlet Jay Simpson. The 20-year-old forward, who is comfortable either up-front or on the wing, has been the subject of a host of enquiries. But Arsene Wenger has been thinking over whether to keep Simpson in his first-team squad or to allow him to leave on loan again. Simpson spent the latter part of last season with West Brom and played over a dozen games. He impressed for Tony Mowbray's side, grabbing a couple of goals in the process. Now it is understood that Arsenal are ready to consider letting Simpson go out on loan again. A host of Championship clubs including Watford, Reading and West Brom - where he played last term - are believed to have expressed their interest in taking him. It is also believed that Celtic - where Mowbray is now in charge - are also keen.
