West Brom are awaiting the results of scans on central defender Jonas Olsson and striker Marc-Antoine Fortune, who were both injured during Saturday's home win over Fulham.
Olsson had to be substituted after 55 minutes with an Achilles problem and Fortune at the same juncture with an ankle injury.
Fortune had scored his first goal of the season in the Baggies 2-1 win which lifted them into fourth spot in the Barclays Premier League for 24 hours.
Albion head coach Roberto Di Matteo confirmed: "Jonas has an Achilles problem and Marc an ankle injury. We will see how they are after scans. They will tell us more."
Fortune has been deputising for four-goal leading scorer Peter Odemwingie, who has missed the last two games with a knee problem. But Di Matteo will resist the temptation to rush the Nigeria international back into action.
He said: "We want Peter back as soon as possible but we don't want to rush him back and then lose him for a long time. We want him to be back in training this week. That is our aim but we will know more later this week."
