Albion has strongly denied rumours of a training ground fall-out between star striker Peter Odemwingine and new head coach Steve Clarke.
Radio station Talksport earlier reported that the two had clashed before Albion jetted off to Sweden for a pre-season tour and were prepared to cash in on the Nigerian.
However, the club took the unusual approach of immediately denying the rumours – which quickly circulated around the internet.
Odemwingie has also been linked with a move to Qatar outfit Al-Gharrafa.
