Club decide not to exercise option Andwele Slory’s short spell at Albion has come to an end after the club decided not to offer the former Dutch international a year’s contract.  The winger joined the Baggies back in January from Feyenoord signing a short five-month deal with an additional year in the club’s favour.  However the wide man failed to make an impact at The Hawthorns as he struggled to find fitness and form and has been released on a free transfer.  Slory had to wait to until 3rd February to make his first appearance in Albion colours away at Blackpool as a 53rd minute substitute.  The winger made his full debut at Cardiff two weeks later but could only manage three further appearances from the bench.  "We would like to thank Andy for his contribution over the past four months but we have parted company by mutual consent," said sporting & technical director Dan Ashworth. "I'm sure Andy won't be short of offers from other clubs and we wish him all the best in his future career."
