Academy striker nets WBA contract

West Bromwich Albion academy striker Adil Nabi has signed a two-year contract with the club.Birmingham-born Nabi, 17, has agreed his first professional deal at the Hawthorns until June 2013. [LNB]Albion's sporting & technical director Dan Ashworth said. "I'm delighted Adil has signed his first pro contract," [LNB]"It highlights the hard work he has put in and is another step on the ladder to him hopefully getting in and around the first team." [LNB]Nabi has been at Albion since he was eight years old and has scored eight goals in 13 FA Premier Academy League games this season. [LNB]"We're really pleased with the progress he has made and hope it will continue over the next few years," Ashworth added [LNB]Nabi has also represented England at under-16 and under-17 levels.
