3dgbaggie gives his verdict on Albion's memorable win Pre-Match Well, I was very nervous before kick-off and I thought ‘let’s just enjoy day lads!’ How wrong was I? First HalfKick-off, off the players go and, as usual, Arsenal were bossing possession and we were going to be in for a tough game! Jonas Olsson then got booked and I thought don't get sent off Jonas, please don't. Ex Man Utd target Arshavin hit the post and then again; well done Brunty for that very faint touch – much appreciated. We are going to be for a tough match – wrong again!JT was very good on the wing and causing Sagna mighty problems; he couldn't cope with him! Great news at that point. Who wanted to drop him?PENALTY TO WEST BROM! Oh my God I can't believe it! Odemwingie fouled by Almunia – he should have gone, biased ref! Oh well, WE GOT A PEN! Brunty steps up, and BANG he misses, what a poor penalty. Eurgh! Will we regret this miss? Nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great first half and not a bad ending. Brunty please, oh please redeem yourself. Second Half Just got back from the toilets and when I sat down JT was on the ball “DELIVER” I screamed, he did but no end product. Then, he had another chance and JT delivered but this time he found Odemwingie who slotted it in the net! YES! GOONERS 0-1 BAGGIES. Then, only seconds later, Jara and Brunty play some kind of 1-2, 1-2 with Brunty's back heel through the legs of Sanga to let in Gonzola Jara who smashed the ball into the net! Almunia at fault? Who cares? I’m in dreamland! YES! GOONERS 0-2 BAGGIES! The match then seemed to go on forever and I kept thinking I’ll take a point with my fist pumping in the air holding on to something that is invisible. JT played in Brunt who set up JT to tap in a well deserved goal! YES! GOONERS 0-3 BAGGIES! Riot rocket revision for arsenal me thinks! Nasri then put my rocketing fists down with very good individual goal. GOONERS 1-3 BAGGIES. We continued to attack but they piled on the pressure. We defended insanely fantastic with Olsson at the heart of it all – well played buddy! As soon as the board for stoppages went up and signalled five minutes everyone around me was complaining. Where did that come from? Nasri then scored again. GOONERS 2-3 BAGGIES. I then experience the longest five minutes of my life as they piled on the pressure. We defended in numbers and then FULL TIME!
