Werder Bremen have allowed Germany Under-21s striker Kevin Schindler to join Hansa Rostock on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old has been charged with the job of scoring the goals to try and return Rostock to the top-flight at the first attempt, having struggled for first-team opportunities with Bremen.
Schindler told Rostock's official website: "The important thing for me and the continuation of my career is that I can be playing at a high level next season.
"Match practice for the reserves has been good for me and more often than not I played the full 90 minutes.
"Furthermore, we reached our aim of promotion to the third division with two games to go.
"I would have liked a bit more first-team action, but the competition at Werder is very strong."
