Moreno plays a waiting game

Bolivian striker Marcelo Moreno insists that he is content to wait for a chance to impress at Werder Bremen.

The 22-year-old moved to Germany on a season-long loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, but has since made only a handful of appearances, all as a substitute.

However, Moreno told Bild: "Werder have a lot of superb players in their squad. Several internationals play at the club and they keep on putting in good performances - that's making it hard for me to break into the first team.

"I need to score goals to get noticed. However, it's impossible to do so without getting regular first-team action. But my current situation doesn't upset me.

"I just need to be patient though. I'm sure that my chance to impress will come and I will not hesitate to grab it. My time will come at Werder."
