Diego's season could be over

Brazilian midfielder Diego faces a spell on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury during training.

Werder Bremen are unsure how long he will be out for but there are fears that his season could be over.

That would mean Diego may have played his last game for the Bundesliga side that reached the UEFA Cup Final by beating Hamburg last week.

He will definitely miss the Final against Shakhtar Donetsk as he is suspended for one match after being booked against Hamburg and is widely expected to move to Juventus in the summer.
