Werder Bremen director Klaus Allofs has told striker Marko Arnautovic he must improve his attitude if he is to prove himself at the club this term.

The Austria international recently joined the club from FC Twente, but it appears he has not impressed Allofs and the management ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign.

"We will give Marko a deadline," Allofs said. "If he does not understand that we can only exist if we work together then he does not have any future with Werder.

"Marko is capable of extraordinary things, but he has got to learn how to fit in. He has some catching up to do."
