West Bromwich Albion 5 Watford 0: Roberto di Matteo unhappy despite rout

West Brom rediscovered their goalscoring form in style to return tothe top of the Championship  - but even that was not enough to bring asmile to manager Roberto di Matteo's face.[LNB]Albion's promotion credentials had been questioned after failing toscore in their last two matches  - and the Italian was not pleasedabout it.[LNB]But dominant Baggies put the frustrations of recent weeks with their second 5-0 win of the season.[LNB]Goals from Jonas Olsson, Graham Dorrans, Luke Moore, GianniZuiverloon and the outstanding Simon Cox stunned Watford who wastedsome key chances as their impressive away run stalled. And with Cox,who scored his first Championship goal since firing 32 for Swindon lastseason, and Moore, Albion's strikers finally got back on to thescoresheet.[LNB]But di Matteo made it clear he was not about to get carried away  - and would not be happy until his side were promoted.[LNB] Four star: West Bromwich Albion's Gianni Zuiverloon gives the thumbs up after scoring the fourth[LNB] Bristol City 1 Sheffield Wednesday 1Coventry 1 Reading 3Doncaster Rovers 3 Blackpool 3 Ipswich 1 Derby 0Middlesbrough 0 Plymouth 1Peterborough 1 Barnsley 2Preston 1 Crystal Palace 1Scunthorpe 0 Swansea 2'I'd rather win five games 1-0 than one game 5-0, it's only three points,' said the Albion manager.[LNB]'It's quite amazing that we get all this criticism, we've had two games where we struggled to score but created chances. But we are up there with the highest scoring teams. The reaction upset me, we have a young team and people forget we have important players missing, that's half the team. [LNB]'I'm not particularly happy, that's why I don't look happy.[LNB]'This was only one game, this is a tough division, people expect us to be 10 points ahead of everybody. But I can't see any team running away, we have been up there all season. I just want to get promoted, I'd be happy then at the end of the season.[LNB]'We need our strikers to chip in with more goals, it's vital, I hope this boosts Cox and Moore's confidence.'[LNB]Albion needed just five minutes to open the scoring through Olsson who headed home Graham Dorrans's free-kick at the far post.[LNB]Baggies extended their lead 13 minutes later when Olsson's long ball found Moore who was pulled down in the 18-yard box by Adrian Mariappa and Dorrans converted powerfully. [LNB] Completing the rout: Simox Cox netted Albion's fifth[LNB]Di Matteo's side looked set for a second penalty after 33 minutes when Moore fell in the area as he tried to take the ball around Loach but referee Nigel Miller felt Moore had dived and booked the Baggies striker.[LNB]Malky Mackay's side squandered an excellent opportunity to pull a goal back when Danny Graham could only find the side-netting from close range.[LNB]But Watford paid for that miss when  Moore cut in from the left and found the far before Baggies put the game beyond all doubt with two spectacular goals. Dutch right-back Zuiverloon cut inside before delivering a low drive into the far corner for his first goal of the season. Then Cox was set up by Moore and drilled in Albion's fifth rom 30 yards.[LNB]'If you remember, Nicky Maynard stepped up last season from League One and struggled a bit in his first season, it's a big step up and it takes time, hopefully this will be the first of many for Cox,' added Di Matteo.[LNB]Watford boss Mackay was left to rue missed opportunites: 'It was very disappointing, we had to believe we could come and win, but we conceded poor goals in the first 10 minutes. We have to do the basics properly,' he said.[LNB]'We have to learn and learn quickly.  We gave them a two-goal start, Danny Graham missed a chance from three or four yards out, they scored and they could pick us off after that. It was probably a key moment, who knows.'[LNB] Bristol City 1 Sheffield Wednesday 1Coventry 1 Reading 3Doncaster Rovers 3 Blackpool 3 Ipswich 1 Derby 0Middlesbrough 0 Plymouth 1Peterborough 1 Barnsley 2Preston 1 Crystal Palace 1Scunthorpe 0 Swansea 2[LNB] [LNB]
