Abdi still out for Hornets
Almen Abdi remains on the sidelines for Watford's Capital One Cup third-round clash at home to Norwich.
The midfielder has missed the club's last three matches, including Saturday's 5-1 demolition of Barnsley, with a foot injury and will again watch from the stands when the Canaries come to town.
Long-term absentees Nyron Nosworthy (Achilles) and Tommie Hoban (ankle) remain unavailable although the former has returned to training.
Boss Gianfranco Zola is likely to make changes for the cup tie as the Hornets aim to make the fourth round for the first time since 2008.
Chris Hughton wants to get Norwich's season back on track by beating Watford.
Cries of "Hughton, sort it out" rang out around Carrow Road on Saturday when Norwich limped to a 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa.
Despite a B#25million summer spending spree, Norwich have started the season poorly, with only one win from their opening five Barclays Premier League matches.
Luckily for Hughton, he has a chance to put right the wrongs of Saturday's loss when his team travel to Vicarage Road on Tuesday night.
"It was disappointing, but this is a very quick opportunity to get back in to football," the Norwich manager said.
"We want to get back to winning ways there."
Despite adding Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Gary Hooper and Johan Elmander to their squad in the close season, Norwich have struggled for goals so far.
Nathan Redmond's winner against Southampton last month is the only goal the Canaries have scored in their last four league games.
Midfielder Jonny Howson is sure the goal drought is just a mere blip that will rectify its self shortly, however.
"We need to address that, yes, but these things happen," the former Leeds man told Canaries Player.
"It is a long season, we will have our ups and downs, but it's a good group we have here so we will keep working hard and it won't affect the team."
Norwich will find it hard to replicate the goal glut they enjoyed in the second round against Bury.
Hughton's men put six past the League One side, but Watford are just seven places below Norwich in the league ladder following their impressive start, which has seen the Hornets lose just one of their opening eight games in the Championship.
Still, like his manager, Howson thinks facing Gianfranco Zola's team will provide Norwich with the perfect chance to right the wrongs of Saturday's loss.
"Whenever you have had a defeat you want to put it right as soon as possible and it helps having a game so soon after," the 25-year-old said.
"Tuesday will be tough going to Watford, they have some good players and they are a good team, but we will go there looking to do well."
With a tough game at Stoke coming up this weekend, Hughton is likely to rest several players for the trip to Hertfordshire.
Van Wolfswinkel is likely to miss out after suffering a toe injury against Villa, meaning Hooper is likely to start his first game for the club since his transfer from Celtic.
Team captain Sebastien Bassong will have a scan on Monday after coming off with a hamstring complaint against Villa.
Winger Josh Murphy, 18, has been included in the squad for the game against Zola's men.
Murphy, who signed a professional contract with Norwich in January, featured on the club's pre-season tour of the United States and Hughton has been impressed with the teenager's recent performances in the development squad.
"Josh Murphy will be in the squad. Whether he starts is a decision I have to make but we feel he deserves to be in and around it," Hughton said.
"He has done very well in the development games."
