Zola without suspended Forestieri Fernando Forestieri will be suspended for Watford when they play host to Middlesbrough. The on-loan Udinese striker was given a second yellow card in Tuesday's impressive 2-1 win at Charlton having been adjudged to have dived in the penalty area. He now serves a one-match suspension. Matej Vydra and Chris Iwelumo are the leading contenders to step in alongside Troy Deeney in attack. Defender Nyron Nosworthy has now returned to training and is back in contention following his hamstring injury. However, skipper John Eustace (back), Prince Buaben (hamstring), Geoffrey Mujangi Bia (groin) and Ikechi Anya (ankle) all remain sidelined. Nothing separates Watford and Boro in the middle of the Championship table but the Hornets are the form side as they chase a third win in the space of a week. Australia international Scott McDonald will hope for a return to first-team football after scoring for Middlesbrough on his comeback. The 29-year-old, who held clear-the-air talks with manager Tony Mowbray earlier this week after not figuring all season in the senior set-up, struck for the club's Under-21s side in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Sunderland on Thursday. McDonald, who played the full 90 minutes, could now find himself in the 18 for the npower Championship trip to Vicarage Road with Mowbray facing a selection crisis with his frontmen. Ishmael Miller, Mustapha Carayol, Merouane Zemmama and Curtis Main are out while Marvin Emnes and attacking midfielder Adam Reach are fighting to shake off injuries. Ryan Noble's double cancelled out, then overhauled McDonald's strike as the Black Cats, who had fit-again full-back Phil Bardsley and out-of-contract former Everton striker James McFadden among their ranks, ran out 2-1 winners.
