Geijo set for Hornets bow Gianfranco Zola may have striker Alex Geijo available when his Watford side host high-flying Brighton. Geijo, who has joined on a season-long loan from Italian club Udinese, is yet to make an appearance for the Hornets. But the 30-year-old forward could be involved against the Seagulls having regained match fitness. Skipper John Eustace is a definite absentee as he continues to recover from a minor back operation. Midfielder Prince Buaben remains sidelined with a thigh injury while Geoffrey Mujangi Bia (groin) is also out. The Hornets, who have lost their last three matches in all competitions, will be hoping for more home comforts at Vicarage Road, having experienced their most recent victory there against Birmingham in August. Craig Mackail-Smith will be available for the clash. The striker scored his fifth goal in three games during Friday night's 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday before coming off in the second half with a tight thigh. But boss Gus Poyet has confirmed Mackail-Smith is fit and will travel to Vicarage Road. Defender Adam El-Abd required treatment on a facial injury following the Owls game but he too is fine. Andrew Crofts remains a doubt due to a muscular injury so Dean Hammond, who made his first appearance on Friday since rejoining the club from Southampton, should keep his place. Fellow midfielder Vicente is still out with a tendon problem and striker Will Hoskins is recovering from a foot injury.
