Anya in Hornets frame

Ikechi Anya is set to return to contention for Watford's home clash against Bournemouth.

The winger missed Tuesday's 3-1 Capital One Cup triumph at Bristol Rovers due to a minor calf complaint and, as expected, has recovered in time for the visit of the Cherries.

Midfielder Sean Murray was handed his chance against Rovers and duly scored twice and claimed an assist, pushing his claims for a starting berth.

Long-term absenteesNyron Nosworthy (Achilles) and Tommie Hoban (ankle) remain sidelined.

Bournemouth will check on Mohamed Coulibaly and Matt Ritchie.

The Cherries, who have won their first two games of the season, face the Hornets for the first time in 10 years on Saturday and they could be without Coulibaly who has an Achilles injury and Ritchie who is recovering from a thigh problem.

While question marks hang over the availability of the two players Josh McQuoid will miss out as he will only return to training next week.

Manager Eddie Howe made seven changes to his line-up for the victory over south coast neighbours Portsmouth on Tuesday and a number of the rested players are set to return to the 11 at Vicarage Road.
