Watford new-boy Martin Taylor has already been impressed by the set-up at Vicarage Road. The January signing from Birmingham, who made his debut in Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Sheffield United, admits Hornets boss Malky Mackay played a major role in persuading him to drop down a division. "I spoke to Malky and was really impressed by him," said Taylor. "Watford have got a great tradition and I spoke to a lot of people who have played here and know the club, and they said Watford are a good young side and there's a lot of positives here. "I wasn't really playing at Birmingham and it was time to move on to a new adventure, and after speaking to the manager I thought it was a great opportunity for me."
