The 20-year-old striker enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Roots Hall this season, scoring seven goals in his 21 appearances for the club. He has now returned to Watford to take up the remaining two years on his contract but with his future unclear under manager Brendan Rodgers, he has admitted he would not be adverse to a return to Essex. "It's too early to know what's going to happen and I certainly don't know at this stage," he told Southend's official website. "The most important thing to me is just that I'm playing first team football again. Going to Southend gave me another taste of that which I enjoyed but I need to speak to Watford and also my agent to see what they have in mind for me. "I really enjoyed my time with Southend. It was a good loan spell, though, and the team did well to. I'd be quite happy to go back but I'm really not sure what will happen."
