Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd claimed he was happy to take a point from Sunday's goalless draw at Stoke City.
The Hornets extended their lead at the top of the table to two points but were indebted to goalkeeper Richard Lee, who made a string of fine saves at the Britannia Stadium.
"Richard has done very well and we've also defended very well generally," admitted Boothroyd.
"It's our first clean sheet for eight games and that's pleasing.
"It was a tough game and we handled it well. Stoke are a big side and we knew we were going to get pounded. We were big enough to stand up to it.
"A point at Stoke is never a bad thing and I'm happy to take it."
