Point pleases Boothroyd

Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd was pleased to take a hard-earned point from Monday's Premiership clash at Manchester City and hopes his side can build on a solid defensive display and go on to win more games. The Hornets remain entrenched in the bottom three after the stalemate and have won only one Premiership game all season. However, they have drawn seven matches with Monday's goalless affair being their fourth 0-0 of the season. Boothroyd said: "We have to battle like that every week and be strong, firm and resolute. "That was our fifth clean sheet which is important and we also have to make sure we start to take the chances we create. "At a place like this, where City are a very good team who are going to develop into an even better side, it's a hard and well-earned point."
