Daniel Webber started his career at Manchester United when he was still at school. During the 2000/01 season he made his substitue debut in the League Cup and the following season made his first start. He was loaned out to Watford in 2002 where he made five League appearances and scored 2 goals. In the same season he was loaned again this time to Port Vale making a further 4 League appearances. In 2003 Webber made a permanent move to Watford after his third appearance as a substitute in the Champions League for Man U.
