McAnuff in dark over return

Watford winger Jobi McAnuff has revealed his surprise at being linked with a move back to former club Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old made almost 75 appearances for the Eagles before moving to Vicarage Road in a £1.75million deal last summer.

Media reports had linked McAnuff with a return to Selhurst Park, but the wideman claims he is in the dark regarding a possible move away from the Hornets.

"I've just seen the story in the paper and it's complete news to me," he told the South London Press.

"I've not been told anything by Watford and I don't expect to be leaving the club.

"I've not had any thoughts about going."
