The Hornets brought an end to a run of four straight defeats when they beat Ipswich 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Tuesday night.[LNB]Mackay could have been forgiven for fearing the worst when Ipswich cancelled out Henri Lansbury's early strike but the hosts dug in and grabbed a valuable three points through Will Hoskins' winner.[LNB]He said: "We had an awful lot of possession and chances in the first half, so you are disappointed when the goal goes in and we switched off for it.[LNB]"But I had no doubt we had the character to kick on and go for the win. We see it every week, I see it every day in training, but we need the consistency."[LNB][LNB]
