Mackay bemoans Hornets luck

Watford boss Malky Mackay insists his side are missing out on "the rub of the green" and is backing them to start climbing the table again. The Hornets have won just once in nine games and were on the wrong end of a couple of key refereeing decisions during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Barnsley. "I think the rub of the green is certainly something that you look at and I think we should have got something there," said Mackay. "You hope that overall it balances itself out, but there have been some major decisions recently. I look at the Peterborough and Nottingham Forest penalties and I look at Saturday's major decisions and that's six or seven points from where we are now. "But that's something you just have to get on with at the time and what we've got here is a group of players who went to Barnsley and gave as good as they got. "If we weren't creating anything then I'd worry but we are actually going up and imposing ourselves on the opposition at their home ground."
