Mackay backing for luckless striker
Ellington has yet to find the net this term, but it is not for the want of trying after he had a host of second-half chances in last week's 4-0 defeat by Cardiff.
"Nathan has been incredibly unlucky over the last four or five weeks to actually not score," said Mackay.
"He has hit posts, he has hit bars and there were maybe two, if not three, chances in the second half where he could have scored."
