The 18-year-old came through the ranks at the club's Harefield Academy before breaking into the first team back in August, and has gone on to register 24 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Jenkins, who netted his first goal for the club in December's 3-2 defeat at Birmingham, told the club's official website: "It's quality what they are doing by bringing the young kids through. All the kids are getting a good education.

"The coaching is quality and it's just fun being in the Academy.

"I've been here for quite a long time now and it is very good to have come through the ranks after all the years I have trained here."
