Fulham striker Collins John has been forced to end his loan spell at Watford after tearing a thigh muscle.
The 22-year-old moved to Vicarage Road in January but struggled to impress during his time with the Championship play-off hopefuls, failing to score in five appearances for the Hornets.
The Dutchman has had form and fitness problems for much of the last 12 months and was sent out on loan to Leicester City earlier this term.
He said at the time of his loan switch to Watford: "I know I have to win the fans over, I'm just thankful that I've been given the opportunity to come here.
"I've been injured while at Leicester, but I've seen the medical team here already and they've been fantastic. Once I've shaken off this injury I'm looking forward to doing what I do, scoring goals.
"That's what I want personally, but of course for the team, automatic promotion is vital, for the fans and the players. Then of course when we go up, it's all about staying up this time."
