Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd has responded to the goalkeeping crisis at Vicarage Road by snapping up the Peterborough United shot-stopper Mark Tyler on a month's loan.

Mart Poom and Scott Loach are both currently injured so third-choice keeper Richard Lee is now the only fit senior gloveman on the Hornets' books.

Tyler has made more than 400 first-team appearances for The Posh but has spent this season on the substitute's bench.

The 31-year-old is available for Tuesday's Championship clash at Burnley.
