Watford's interest in re-signing Heidar Helguson on loan from Queens Park Rangers has been confirmed by the Hoops.
The Icelandic striker spent over five years at Vicarage Road before sealing a Premier League switch to Fulham in 2005.
The R's are willing to let Helguson rejoin their London rivals for a period thought to be around three months.
"They are keen and I've let Heidar know they're interested," QPR boss Jim Magilton told the Ealing Gazette.
"I'll talk to the player again and we'll go from there."
Helguson is currently sidelined with a knee injury picked up on international duty.
