Hornets striker to escape ban
Referee Sergi Cano Gazquez became the centre of attention when he sent Priskin off for dissent after Spanish side Balaguer had equalised following John Eustace's opener for the Hornets.
Mackay said: "It was interesting to see the vast differences in the way the two teams played the game and the referee struggled to adapt to the way English teams play.
"There were eight yellow cards in the match but I'm convinced that if it had taken part in England there would have been none.
"I spoke to the referee afterwards and he recognised the situation and confirmed he would rescind the paperwork."
