Hornets star can't wait to return
The American centre-half is recovering from eye surgery after a piece of grit got stuck under his contact lens and became infected.[LNB]DeMerit hopes to return before Christmas and in the meantime has been working hard on his general fitness.[LNB]"I have been into training now and again to do stuff in the gym on the bike and doing aerobic work," he said.[LNB]"I have also been working on my problem areas, my groin and hamstring. So hopefully when I come back I will be stronger than ever."[LNB][LNB]
