Hornets ace Mariappa keen to build
The 22-year-old last week put pen to paper on a two-year deal and feels the Hornets can build on their successful end to the last campaign when the new season kicks off again in August.
"It's been a really tough season after not starting great," he told the club's official website.
"But we picked up during the end and it just shows how hard we worked when you look at where we finished.
"We will be looking to carry that into next season and start the 2009/10 campaign how we finished this one."
