Hornets accept big bid for Smith
The Championship club have not revealed the identity of the 29-year-old's suitors after they made their move earlier on Thursday.[LNB]Smith, the Hornets' player of the year who scored 17 times last season, will now be allowed to talk to the bidding club.[LNB]The developments follow a period of intense speculation over the future of the former Derby frontman.[LNB]Watford chairman Jimmy Russo told the club's website: "We've received a new bid today for Tommy and we will allow him to speak to the club in question.[LNB]"This is a new club that has expressed a desire to sign Tommy."[LNB][LNB]
