Graham delights Watford boss

Watford manager Malky Mackay was delighted that Danny Graham ended his mini goal drought during Saturday's 3-0 home success against Scunthorpe United.

The former Carlisle United and Middlesbrough forward hadn't scored since the Hornets' 1-1 draw at Reading on September 26.

Seven games had passed since his last goal but Mackay believes Graham has shown he is more than just a goal scorer.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "I was very pleased for Danny.

"In recent weeks he's been working very hard as a team player and what he puts into the game in training and in matches, you can see that he wants to be the best player he can.

"I love watching him play football, especially when he flicks on balls and then chases them.

"To see him back on the score sheet again today, after seeing how good a finisher and a goalscorer he is, was great."
