Graham becomes a Hornet

Watford have secured the signing of Danny Graham from Carlisle United.

The two clubs are still locked in talks over a fee for the player, despite him being out of contract at Brunton Park.

As the player is under the age of 24, Carlisle are entitled to compensation and an independent tribunal may be brought in to settle on a fee.

The 23-year-old has signed a two-year deal at Vicarage Road, with the option of a third year included in his contract.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Stuart Searle has left Watford after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
