Gills boss eyes three new faces

17 July 2009 17:15
Shortly after revealing he would not be taking his interest in defenders Aaron Brown or Chris McCready any further, the Gills boss has admitted he would like to bring his other three trialists on board in some way or another. Speaking about left-sided midfielder Yussuff and full-backs Parkes and Long, he told the club's official website: "The three of them did very well again against Faversham and the boy Yussuff's goal was absolutely outstanding. "With the composure he showed with his left foot and his athleticism, he is someone who I will try and put together a deal for. "Jordan Parkes is contracted to Watford for two years so if we do anything with him it would be a loan, and young Sam Long has got a good opportunity of being offered something as well. "Hopefully we can work something out with them all early next week."
