Francis suffers serious injury

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has admitted that Damien Francis' absence from the first team for the rest of the season has come as a serious blow.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been a regular in the Hornets' starting line-up this term following last summer's switch from Wigan Athletic, but he has sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Boothroyd told the club's official website: "It's a big blow, because I've been really pleased with him and I thought he was really starting to come into form.
"Such is the game. This year we did really well with injuries and now all of a sudden we've had a few. That's life.
"It was an innocuous little stretch. He hyper-extended his right knee and felt it go a little bit. It's the same injury as (Gareth) Williams."
