Eustace reveals Aidy rant
20 Feb 2008 - 08:18:41
Watford midfielder John Eustace has admitted that Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd blew his top at half-time of the 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic.
The Hornets trailed by two goals at the interval at The Valley, but roared back to earn a point thanks to goals from John-Joe O'Toole and Danny Shittu
Eustace told the Watford Observer: "He gave us a real rollicking which I think we deserved. It certainly did the trick.
"We were disappointing in the first half and weren't really at the races. We started slowly and they were a lot sharper.
"But to come back from two goals down shows good character and we still had the chances to win it at the end.
"John-Joe O'Toole coming on helped us get further up the pitch and he scored a really good goal."
