Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd is confident that Gareth Williams could play a key role in the Hornets' push for promotion in the last few weeks of the season.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who has been sidelined for almost 12 months with a cruciate ligament injury, has now returned to training with the rest of the first-team squad.
Boothroyd told the Hornets' official website: "Gareth's trained all week and is ahead of schedule.
"You look at the way he passes the ball and he might be the player who comes in and plays the last six weeks and does great."
