Ellington hopes goals fly in

Watford striker Nathan Ellington was delighted to score a last-gasp equaliser at Ipswich Town in midweek and now hopes he can catapult himself into the scoring charts.

Ellington had not scored for the Hornets since the 2-1 victory over Coventry City in April 2008 and now the 28-year-old is hoping he can hit the net more regularly.

Speaking to Watford Observer, he said: "Everybody has been saying to me that once I get one, they should all come flooding in as I have been unlucky not to score more already.

"But the more goals I score, the more confidence I will gain.

"Now instead of thinking when will I get that goal, I will be thinking about getting more and more goals."
