Ellington not in Hornets' plans

Ellington became the Hornets' record signing in August 2007 when Adrian Boothroyd paid £3.25million for him but after scoring just four goals in his first season he was sent to Derby on loan this term.[LNB]The Rams have the option of signing him for free this summer but as he has featured just twice in 2009 for Nigel Clough's side it would appear that he may return to Watford.[LNB]However Rodgers told the Watford Observer: "If Derby don't want to sign him then there is the possibility that he will come back.[LNB]"However, I have made it clear to the club that Nathan's future would lie elsewhere."[LNB][LNB]
