What a fascinating climax we can expect with so much still at stake at the top and bottom of the Championship as what many have described as ‘a crazy season’ in the second tier draws to a dramatic close.
Putting on our tipster’s hat, we have predicted the results of all the Saturday lunchtime kick-offs in the Championship and can exclusively reveal who will be toasting their respective successes with champagne – and who will be crying in their milk!
At the top of the division, we know that Cardiff are already champions but the big question ahead of the final day is...who will claim the second automatic promotion spot? Our man in the know reckons Hull will be celebrating as Watford prepare for the play-offs.
At the bottom of the table, Bristol City have long-since been doomed and we’re predicting that Wolves – in free-fall under Dean Saunders – and Barnsley will be joining them in League One next season.
That means a reprieve for Peterborough, Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall, Huddersfield and Blackburn who were all sweating going into the last round of games.
