Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd has given permission for Hameur Bouazza to extend his loan spell at Swindon Town by a further two months.
Bouazza started five games during his first month at the County Ground and Boothroyd believes regular first-team football will benefit the 20-year-old striker more than returning to Watford and turning out for the reserves.
"Hameur is going to continue to get some much-needed first-team experience," he told the Hornets' official website.
"Right now, he wouldn't be in my team given the front players we've got at our disposal. So it's better for him and for us that he puts some more games under his belt with Swindon."
Watford have, however, denied Swindon permission to play Bouazza in the FA Cup.
