Bouazza injury fears for Hornets

Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd is hoping striker Hameur Bouazza will not be ruled out for too long after picking up a foot injury against Derby County on Saturday.

The 21-year-old French hitman, who was loaned out to League One side Swindon Town earlier in the campaign, had an X-ray on the injury but will have to wait until the swelling subsides before a full diagnosis can be revealed.

Boothroyd said: "Hameur has been excellent recently. That he is keeping Anthony McNamee out of the team proves how well he has been doing.

"Going on loan to Swindon allowed him to learn what first-team football was all about. When you are playing in front of decent crowds, you have to grow up.

"We hope the injury is not serious."
