Bouazza blow for Hornets
27 Dec 2006 - 13:57:22
Watford winger Hameur Bouazza faces around a month on the sidelines after suffering a dislocated shoulder in the 2-1 home defeat by Arsenal.
Bouazza had to be replaced 21 minutes from time as the Hornets slipped to another loss and he will definitely miss the rest of the busy Christmas and New Year programme.
He told Sky Sports: "I was injured 30 minutes from the end after a collision with Kolo Toure.
"I have already suffered the same shoulder injury two years ago, so I think I will be sidelined for four to five weeks."
Hornets boss Aidy Boothroyd was downbeat about having lost one of his more impressive performers in what has been a difficult campaign back in the top-flight.
He added: "I thought he was excellent, but we ended up losing him as well. He has popped his shoulder out so he could be out for a while.
"He has done it before so that might help him or it might hinder him, I don't know."
