Boothroyd calm over slump

Adrian Boothroyd says he is not too surprised to see his Watford side hit a rough patch after making a strong start to life back in the Championship. The Hornets lost 2-1 at home to Bristol City at the weekend and have now taken only one point from their last four games. Boothroyd commented: "I thought I'd be glad to see the end of November but obviously December has started just as badly. We've obviously got a lot of work to do. "Fundamentally football is about scoring goals and keeping clean sheets and we've got to get back to that. "I knew all along that no-one was going to do a Reading and win this league by 20 points. "We made a very good start, but it's a 46-game season and the best time to judge a side is at the end of May."
