Watford striker Hameur Bouazza could be heading out of Vicarage Road after Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd confirmed he had received an undisclosed bid from a Premiership club for the 22-year-old.
Boothroyd left Bouazza out of his side's pre-season friendly against MK Dons on Wednesday and seems resigned to the player's departure.
"I've not played him today because I have gotten a lot out of him recently," Boothroyd told the club's official website.
"I can tell you that we had an offer. It wouldn't be right to say who it was from or how much it was for.
"I would hope that the situation could be resolved, these things happen and everyone now just wants to move on."
