In 1974 Pennant football club (the former name of Waltham Forest ) joined the Metropolitan London League and in their first season won the league title and the London Junior Cup.
After the 2001-2 season the Club was unhappily asked to appear before the F.A. to explain one of the poorest discipline records in the whole of English football.
